One of the most enjoyable ways to experience foreign cultures is through cuisine; and with the advent of the Internet, recipes from around the world are available instantly, at the click of a button.

As the weather gets colder, why not heat up your kitchen with dishes from around the world? Or invite your international friends to a cross-cultural pot-luck dinner?

Think of it this way: just because you are in your home country, doesn’t mean you have to eat that way! Being adventurous in the kitchen can help keep you excited until your next adventure abroad.

The Internet is, of course, full of fantastic food-and-travel blogs, so you should have no trouble finding great recipes. But, if you need some initial inspiration, why not check out Egg Wan's Food Odyssey, Indian Simmer, My Kugelhopf or Jun-Blog.

Yum, yum!
