"Reading a book can only tell you so much," says Chee. "To truly understand some things you must experience them first-hand." During his undergrad degree, Chee took his own advice and went abroad to study at Kookmin University in South Korea. As a design student, Chee was as interested in the visual culture as in the social culture, and his story highlights some excellent attitudes towards international experiences and cultural immersion.
