Jaqueline wanted to find a short-term service learning program in Africa that would allow her to work in the fields of health and nutrition. She found exactly what she was looking for in a nine-week program offered by Global Service Corps. She traveled to Tanzania, where she taught locals about HIV/AIDS, nutrition and the basics of sustainable agriculture. Jaqueline learned a huge amount on her service learning trip, including how to deal with the challenges of culture shock!
